How a restoration runs

The finish is only as good as the work under it. That's why the prep gets the same care as the final coat.

Free inspection & quote

We get up there and look at the whole roof, tiles, ridges, valleys and gutters, then tell you straight what it needs. No obligation, and no pressure from us if the answer is that it can wait a while yet.
Repairs & water systems

Broken tiles replaced, gutters and valleys cleared so the water systems run free. That all happens before a drop of water hits the roof.
Pressure clean

The full surface stripped back, moss, mould, dirt and failed coatings gone. The roof is cleaned before any major works, so everything after it goes onto a sound base.
Repointing the ridge caps

Ridge cappings repointed with a professional grade flexible roof pointing, so the spine of the roof stays strong and watertight. Flexible pointing moves with the roof instead of cracking out the way old rigid mortar does.
Seal & coats

Sealed, then finished in your colour. Pressure washed, sealed and two coats, that's the absolute way.

Tiled roofs

Concrete and terracotta. Cleaned back to a sound surface, ridge caps rebedded and repointed, broken tiles swapped, then sealed and finished in your colour.

Colorbond and older galvanised iron. Cleaned down, rust treated, screws and flashings sorted, then primed and topcoated for a coastal climate.

When Absolute arrives, it is our own family on your roof, not a rotating crew of subcontractors. My wife works on the tools alongside me, and in January 2026 our 16 year old son joined the business to learn the trade properly, starting with the prep.
